Jessica Seewoolall is a Multimedia Producer based in London and working everywhere

Design has since long been a passion and of great interest to me. It’s a world in which I am very at ease and saw myself adopting as a career.

Starting as a freelance photographer as a side job in weddings while waiting to start my tertiary education, I unknowingly developed a passion into the creative world.

I joined the Charles Telfair Institute in Mauritius in 2017 and successfully completed a Certificate IV in Graphic Design and Diploma in Graphic Design (TAFE North Metropolitan). During the course I started to learn about graphic design from scratch both theoretical and practical and graduated from the University of East London in the UK after pursuing my degree in Graphic Design. Since relocating to London I discovered a new passion for videography, and enhanced my skills at every opportunity available specially by interpreting design briefs as a way to make new videos as my final output.

Over the years I have seen my personal skills develop a great deal, by way of sketching, rendering and time management skills. This has helped me a large amount to get to where I am, and were I want to be. I feel I am perfectly suited to this field as I possess intelligence, imagination, originality and a deep interest and enthusiasm for graphic design. I have the ability to think creatively, a willingness to experiment and take risks, and can express my ideas visually. From the experience I have got by taking these course I’ve realised that Graphic Design is more than just a solo effort, but a teamwork, collaboration with other members or other designers is very important and this helped me to learn how to take criticism well, meet deadlines, and change concepts as my projects evolves. My forte is communication I am someone who loves to talk and this will be a plus for when communicating with the client.
